The Fishery Area
Crag: The Fishery
Rating: M9, 30+m
This was the first route to go up at the Fishery and the last to get sent (My eyes are bigger than my forearms!) It's a stunning route of very high quality.
Start at the right side of the slab and climb through mungy steep bit to get established on slab. Stay right of the bolts to top of slab and go right and up to mini right-facing corner below/right of double roof. Pull roof and climb overhanging headwall to ice on the right. 13 bolts and 2-3 stubbys (for ice to the anchors). Note: There is an intermediate anchor at the top of the slab that allows you to climb JUST the slab and lower-off/TR without getting into the business of Tryptophan. This is called "Cold Turkey" and goes at M6.
