Rating: WI5, 50m
A mega-classic on the lakeshore. Ice is typically very brittle, three-dimensional, and the route is very sustained. It frequently forms as a massive single column, up to 20 feet across, with giant "bat wings" at the top.
The climb has the character of a sea-cliff climb, due to the ominous presence of Lake Superior at its base.
